Are you ready for the summer? We kicked it off fast and right around here with a family trip to Orlando. We saw the mouse, flew with Harry Potter, played in the ocean and the kids were jumping off the top of a friend’s pontoon (I’m not doing that) during a day at the lake.

We flew home last sunday for the official opening of summer with a special Memorial Day show from Soca Jukebox. The band will be on the road all summer long bringing the Island Percussion Party to barefoot and flip flop feet at top waterside venues. Soca will return to one of our very favorite stops, Captain Ron’s at Lake of the Ozarks, this weekend. You should totally come!

Hope you’ll check out the calendar and include some live music in your summertime plans. We’re doing a lot of cool things including shows with Under the Influence, Pig Farmer, The Nova Project, Ed Daniels and stay tuned for an announcement about a very special show with Maria the Mexican.

We had a great anniversary celebration for UTI and Soca J at the Voodoo this month. The incredible photos, videos and audio from that show keep rolling in. Hopefully, we’ll get that together to share very soon.

Thanks for joining our select mailing list so we can be sure you’re in the loop on all our adventures this season. Have a great summer!
