Ah… it’s Christmastime again. An exciting but often hectic time for families, elves and rabble-rousing guitarists. Here’s a few quick tips we’ve learned along the way to keep a little sanity and perspective in the season.
1) Don’t eat the mistletoe – those little red berries look delicious, probably lots of fiber too but it’s deadly poison!
2) Keep the home fires burning – A little action in the fireplace can keep you cozy, thaw out your Ritchie Sambora boots and relieve the stress of a year of dealing with musicians and booking agents.
3) Grease the wah-wah – You never know who might request a funky ‘silent night’ or something. This is great advice the whole year through.
4) Egg Nog the Mother-in-law – A little festive libation always keeps ours in line.
5) Give the perfect gift – We might recommend the new family album from JR, FUNKY FOLK, the perfect stocking stuffer for the families near to you this season. Pre-release only available to Santa’s helpers at jasonriley.com
Following just a few of these steps will add to the health and merriment of this special time of year for you and your whole family.
Thank you for supporting us in all of our musical exploits and for making this a great 2010! From everyone here at the ol’ dotcom….
