Ready, Rock, Reggae Summer Tour rolls on! Soca J had a great Independence Day weekend and hope you did too. As usual, we started things off totally surrounded by the police. Thank you Zona Rosa, Rob and Lynn, our boys in blue and everyone at Captain Ron’s @ Lake Ozark for keeping spirits high all weekend long. The fireworks are spent but we’ve still got some minds left to blow!
The band returns to the road and one of our favorite destinations this Thursday and Friday. Cunningham’s Journal in Kearney, NE has a motivated and dedicated Soca Legion, always mobile and ready at the first sign of a conga groove or guirro scratch. We’ve been missing them! Saturday night the boys will be headlining the Downs Festival in Downs, KS. That will be the only reggae in sight for literally hundreds of miles.
