2026 has already been one for the books so far. Between attending the NAMM Show back in January, balancing another busy college semester of teaching, performing throughout the region, and reconnecting with so many friends and fellow musicians along the way, it’s been a season full of music, momentum, and gratitude. One of the real highlights of the year was seeing the St. Joseph Arts Academy recognized at the International Music Academy Conference in Austin, Texas — an encouraging reminder that the work we’re doing here in the Midwest continues to reach people far beyond our local community.

Now, as summer rolls in, the calendar is filling up quickly with live performances, regional festivals, private events, concerts, and road dates at some of my favorite venues and destinations around Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, Wisconsin and beyond. Summer has always been one of my favorite seasons for live music. There’s just something special about outdoor concerts, community festivals, small-town celebrations, and long nights spent making music with great people.

Whether you’ve followed my work for years, studied music with me, hired one of my groups, or are just discovering this website for the first time, I truly appreciate you being here. I hope you’ll follow along with the summer schedule, come out to a performance, and stop by to say hello sometime along the way.
