Jazz Guitar Duo Swings Like a Gypsy

Gypsy and Swing Jazz Specialist, Steve Jones returns to the area to reunite with our guy for a few select shows this week.

The gutsy, jazz guitar twosome of Steve Jones and Jason Riley returns to the Midwest for a run of regional shows. The talented duo performs music from a wide range of eras and genres with an emphasis on acoustic gypsy swing and big band jazz in the style of Django Reinhardt. Jones is on lease from his Connecticut-based jazz trio, Swing 39 and en route from festivals in Michigan. Riley, a native of this dotcom, is fresh from a tour promoting his latest solo release, Funky Folk, as well as one with Soca Jukebox, and moving on to Nashville next month with Las Vegas singer/songwriter,Ed Daniels.
