Our friends Soca Jukebox are on a permanent vacation with stops this week in Little Dublin for St. Patrick’s Day (thanks for all you’ve given us Jason PATRICK Riley, you really are a saint!) and a 2-night stand at Cunningham’s Journal (gotta give them something to write about.) JR’s on spring break from educating young collegians but there is no respite from bringing the Rock.

Catch him at Hastings on Saturday for a “Funky Folk” in-store promo too. Check out the new spotlight ad with our friends at Sprockster.com, new music for your family.

Lots of cool and varied stuff in the days ahead including dates with Under the Influence and the JR Trio. Expect new music from Pig Farmer with their upcoming “Makin’ Bacon” too.

We’re very excited to get you-know-who on the bill as a guest for some upcoming dates with the Sugita-Glise Duo. Composer/Guitarist, Anthony Glise, along with Ken Sugita of the French National Orchestra, are on tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of their Lincoln center debut. Jason and the Duo toured europe a couple of times as The Nova Project and a good time was had by all. JR will perform electric guitar with the Duo on Glise’s award-winning composition, “The Missouri Fables“.

Funky Folk” hits the road on the upcoming spring promotional adventure, “Tour de Funk“. Our guy heads west with a Godin Multiac, a looping pedal and song in his heart. A modern day Johnny Appleseed spreading the gospel to funky folkies everywhere. Go get ’em!

Until then, listen to some music here, check out the calendar or enjoy this video medley from Soca Jukebox
