The upcoming, 2nd annual, three day music festival celebrating, peace, love and Missouri music, Joestock takes place Labor Day Weekend, Sept. 2-4 at Phil Welch Stadium in historic St. Joseph, MO. New home to the Missouri Music Hall of Fame, induction ceremonies will take place each night followed by special performances from these celebrated artists.

Friday night, 70’s acoustic Folk Duo, Brewer and Shipley will be sworn in. Saturday and Sunday evenings’ installations include friends of the show and local early rock legends, Larry Buck, Jack Frost and the late Greg Camp.

Some of our favorite acts will also be on hand throughout the festival weekend.
Award-winning Classical Prog paragon,The Nova Project will open for Brewer and Shipley Friday at 8pm.

Decorated Rock Megadons and donnas, Under the Influence appear Saturday at 2:15pm

Festooned Alt. Country/Americana gluttons, Pig Farmer takes the stage at 2pm on Sunday with a CD release celebration performance for their newest album “Makin’ Bacon”.

Really cool deal for our town and a great way to celebrate our region’s most influential music and players. I think it’s a very inexpensive weekend too with tickets around 5 bucks and maybe a little more for camping. Yes, camping! In my mind, I’ve already pitched my tent.
